Welcome to DartsDominican.com  - this website's purpose is to provide information to connect you - the darts players - with all the known darts bars pubs and venues throughout the Dominican Republic. Publicizing darts is a win / win situation. Having more people playing darts increases its overall popularity while increasing your bar's player base or customers. Our only requirement for listing you as a darts bar is that you have a dartboard and useable play area. We do not list bars with an unplayable dartboard on the wall only as a decoration. The launching of this website is after an initial three-week search for darts bars. It is our sincere hope that we've missed more darts venues that will eventually be added to the list. Adding your darts bar to our list is free and we look forward to hearing from all owners and or managers of darts bars not already on the list.
In addition to publicizing darts in the DR this site is also designed as a resource with everything you need from setting up your dartboard and throw area to ideas for tournaments and events including bracket sheets to accommodate any number of players. One-time and or special tourneys offer a different format from the norm and often times attract new players who may not otherwise have picked up some darts and give it a go. Comparing your local darts scene in the DR to the one "back home" - for many expats may be very different and may seem unworkable. But the ideas found here for successfully promoting darts come from a very similar scenario - from our sister website DartsThailand.com - also being a seasonal travel destination with many regulars in and out of country. As well many of the venues have limited space or an open air playing area. Although there is no guarantee that any of these ideas will prove successful all the time - there is little to no investment risk to what may in fact turn out to be a real winner for your darts bar. First and foremost especially for those venues new to darts is below.
